IMPROVING STUDENTS ENGAGEMENT IN PHYSICS USING COMPUTER ASSISTED INSTRUCTION METHOD

Contemporary society has witnessed a growing trend of technological innovations in the educational landscape. The phenomenon been widely integrated into education system Nigeria. Perhaps, researchers have deployed different computer technologies to enhance students performance varying subjects. present study aims determine whether computer-assisted instructional methods would affect engagement physics secondary school. A total one hundred and eighty-seven school were drawn from eight public schools Ankpa Lokoja Kogi state as studys participants. adopted aquasi-experimental pre-test, post-test design. result revealed significant difference between taught with method those conventional way at MD = 5.08, t (185) 7.328, p .000. Thus, concludes that is an indispensable tool could influence physics, especially among students. practical implications recommendations are discussed.
